Terraria: Otherworld isn't Terraria 2

Terraria: Otherworld, which promises to take the popular Otherworld experience in a new direction and absolutely isn't Terraria 2, is currently in development by the teams at Re-Logic and Engine Software.

The game is set in an alternate dimension within the Terraria universe and places the player in a life-and-death struggle to restore a once-pristine world which has been overrun by a malevolent force.

Announced for PC and Mac, PS4 and Xbox One versions are also being considered, but the developers say "a final decision has not been made in that regard".
