Xbox One outsold PS4 in the UK last week, report claims

Xbox One saw a "massive sales spike" in the UK last week to outsell PlayStation 4, MCV reports.

The site claims to have been told by an "anonymous retail source" that Xbox One hardware sales increased by 155 per cent week-on-week, and while PS4 rose by 80 per cent too, its weekly sales were "ever so slightly" behind those of Microsoft's console.

Exact sales figures have not been revealed.

Microsoft dropped the price of Xbox One to £329.99 last week and released an official FIFA 15 Xbox One bundle for £349.99.
