Shadow Warrior gets delayed
Flying Wild Hog’s re-imagining of the 3D Realms’ shooter Shadow Warrior was originally set for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month, but now you'll have to wait a month longer.
Originally set to be released September 26 across Europe and Australia on PS4 and Xbox One, Wang will now shoot things up in October instead.
According to the developer, bringing the game to current-gen consoles has been “a challenge” as it wants to make sure the player experience “is perfect.”
“In play testing we have been focusing in on the controller inputs and response,” said Flying Wild Hog. “We recognized that we needed more time to improve this as Shadow Warrior is an old school FPS and this demands perfection.
“Sadly this means a small delay in the release date, but Lo Wang needs to be at his best on these shiny new consoles.” Shadow Warrior will now release in North America on October 21 and in the UK on October 24.
