Nintendo: 2DS has sold 2.1 million units, Animal Crossing: New Leaf surpasses 7.38 million units

Nintendo revealed in its financial statement earlier today 2DS has sold 2.1 million units since it launched back in October 2013.

The firm also revealed lifetime unit sales for 3DS which has shipped 42.7 million units since 2011, and the entire family of DS systems has shipped 154 million units.

One of the software highlights noted was Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which has sold 7.38 million units worldwide since it launched in November 2012.
