Sony Dropping Online Play for Gran Turismo 5, Resistance Series, and more

Sony has announced that Gran Turismo 5’s online features will conclude as of May 20, 2014. Additionally, the online features for the entire Resistance franchise on PlayStation 3 will conclude on March 28th, 2014.

Finally, as of January 28th, 2014, online support for MAG, SOCOM: Special Forces, and, SOCOM: Confrontation will no longer be available.

You will still be able to play all of these games offline, if you choose to do so.
