S&S News: Naughty Dog asked Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg to write Uncharted movie

It looks like Naughty Dog tried to pick up the Superbad writers to pen the Uncharted film, but they constantly turned them down....


Naughty Dog is eager to make the Uncharted movie with Superbad andPineapple Express writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, according to the pair.

Speaking with IGN during an interview for his latest movie, This Is the End, Rogen said, "They're constantly asking me and Evan to make the Uncharted movie."

Goldberg added that Naughty Dog has contacted the longtime pair on multiple occasions over the past four years, but they have repeatedly turned down the job because they are unsure how to best adapt the game for the big screen.

"It's just going to be Indiana Jones," Goldberg said. "If we could figure out a way to make it not Indiana Jones, it'd be awesome."
