S&S News: Metal Gear Legacy Collection Official

After Hideo Kojima tweeted a photo (shown above), and after a Korean ratings board listing showed something weird, the Metal Gear Legacy Collection is official.


Finally confirmed by Konami, the PS3 collection will feature Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD, Metal Gear Solid 3 HD, Metal Gear: Peace Walker HD, Metal Gear Solid: VR Edition, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition. Not enough for you? Well Konami is also including two Ashley Wood digital graphic novels.

When asked about the collection, Konami President Tomoyuki Tsuboi said this, "We wanted to give Metal Gear Solid fans the opportunity to experience the series from beginning to end, all on one console. With the collection's multiple titles, players can truly see how Metal Gear Solid evolved into the critically acclaimed and beloved franchise it is today."

Sadly, though, at the moment there is no set release date or price for the collection. We will, however, update you if anything pops up in the coming days.
