S&S News: Batman Arkham Origins Announced
This morning, Warner Bros. announced some fantastic news, a new game titled Batman Arkham Origins. That's right, a new game in the series is on the way.
The next title (which is currently in development) in the franchise will be available on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U and is set to hit shelves on October 25th 2013. Arkham Origins will be set before any of the current Arkham games. This information was released just this morning after GameInformer showed off the magazine's May 2013 cover. (Shown below)
For handheld fans/owners, Warner Bros has also announced a PS Vita/3DS Batman game. Titled Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate, the game will focus on events that happen just after Batman Arkham Origins. The handheld version will also be available on October 25th.
To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to this. Why does it have to be a prequel? Game series seem to be doing this nowadays where a later game is the beginning of it all.
