S&S News: Unreal Engine 4 Won't Run on WiiU

Epic's famous Unreal Engine is getting its next upgrade, and it won't run on the Wii U.
At GDC 2013, Epic Vice President Mark Rein laughed when asked if Unreal Engine 4 would run on the Wii U.

"Our goal for Unreal Engine 4 console-wise is next-gen consoles. That's really what our energies are focused on. If you want to make a Wii U game, we have Unreal Engine 3, and it's powering some of the best games on the Wii U already."

Not only is the Unreal Engine not coming to the Wii U but the new Frostbite 3 will not be available for use on the Wii U either.
