S&S News: Ron Gilbert Leaves Double Fine

It looks like the Monkey Island creator is leaving Double Fine Productions....


The Grumpy Gamer announced the disappointing news today on his blog, and he states that now that the Cave is finished and wrapped up, it's time for him to move on.  He went on to say that there are still many games to be designed, so the good news is that he isn't retiring, just moving on.  He's currently working on a iOS side project, and it's coming along nicely so far.  You're starting to see a lot more major names go into mobile development, maybe they're starting a trend.
