PS4 is fastest-selling console in UK history, beating PSP record

PlayStation 4 launched last Friday here in the UK, and it has gone on to become the fastest-selling console in the nation’s history.

Chart-Track has announced that PS4 rolled right over the PSP’s record of 185,000 sales at launch. The record was set back in 2005.

November 29 was branded a “huge day” for gamers by Sony’s European boss Jim Ryan.
