That's all fine and dandy because yes, we do play games for the games, but then why in the hell do you charge an extra $100 over the PS4? Sure, you've got Kinect in there, but if your components are not as powerful as the PS4's then surely they are cheaper as well; meaning you should be able to include the Kinect and still come in at the same price point. Why buy a system for more when I'm getting less?

And no, I'm not committed to Sony/PS4 myself - that's what my PC is for :D

  2. Regardless of Microsoft's components being "not as powerful", it's unlikely that Microsoft got them cheaper and more like they got them at price while Sony got theirs cheaper being a company founded on hardware design. They're likely to be better connected or even buying the part from itself. So Microsoft's console isn't expensive, Sony is cheap, there is a difference.

  3. I agree that the game lineup will give it an edge.

  4. How about they make a game that doesn't involve not mashing one button?

  5. I would like to know why they think they are going to "start ahead". For certain people maybe, but that all depends on what services you want. Games-wise they probably won't be able to match what Sony will offer, and yes even at launch they don't. I don't have cable TV or anything so those features are also useless to me. All depends on what you like and use.
