Metal Gear Online supports 16 players on PS4, Xbox One & PC, 12 players on Xbox 360 & PS3

Metal Gear Online will include support for up to 16 players on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and 12 players on Xbox 360 and PS3, Konami has revealed.

The player counts were detailed on the Japanese Metal Gear Solid website, with access to the online mode included with all copies of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

The service is due to go live at the game's launch on September 1.
