Xbox Japan boss steps down following poor sales

Xbox Japan boss Takashi Sensui has stepped down from his position and will now work over at Microsoft's US headquarters, reports Famitsu.

Takahasi Minami, who joined Microsoft in July having spent 25 years with Sony, will take over as the head of Xbox Japan.

Minami faces a mammoth task if he is to turn around Xbox fortunes in Japan. The Xbox One launched in September with lacklustre sales of 23,562 units. Since then this figure has risen to only 38,461 units.
