BADLAND is an atmospheric side scrolling action adventure game. Taking platforming to the next level with innovative use of physics in level design. Single player mode is a 40-level experience from delightful dawn to the deadly night. Featuring highly original local multiplayer mode up to four players.

  Gameplay:
This silhouetted platformer uses physic based tapping for controls. The objective stays the same for each level, although you can obtain achievements for clearing missions or saving clones throughout the levels. All you have to do is get from point A to B. There isn't exactly a timer but if you stop moving your clone the left side of the screen will pan past you, killing you. The convenient part about dying is you start from a very close by spot from where you died.

The power ups in BADLAND give the game it's wit. They will be be placed in purpose areas for avoiding traps or fitting through small cracks. Some multiply your clones, slow them down, or make them bounce. The power ups vary for each level.

Something I have noticed with BADLAND is its similarity to the game Limbo. Not only because of the visuals but the sound effects and violent deaths. For example, if your clone touches a spiked bomb it will explode sounding like a shotgun going off. I want to make clear that this game is suitable for everyone.

Final Thoughts:
I recommend wearing headphones when playing this to get the best experience. If you were to close your eyes and just listen, you will feel as if you're walking through a forest. When you pass the fans and metal pipes in the game they sound just like large pieces of machinery. My only gripe with the experience is it feels like you're doing the same thing every time.
